The above mentioned quote, I remember when i first read it, is one of the most scariest things i've ever read. It's like I couldn't put into words how I deal and then while reading this book I found it. Not exactly rare but still quite unnerving. Watching the movie yest made me remember this and I just had to find this quote again.

I substituted anger for pain and misery at one point but it riverted back to anger as well. The last two sentences is one of the most painful and revolutionary sentences, I feel, we as people have to come to grips with if we ever want to move on in life.

Maybe it will help you. Maybe it won't. I just thought it was worth a mention.

I've been kinda down lately. It's coz I came across an phrase that has so much meaning for me concerning the Enters issue.

I swear it brought back such good memories - which ended with me being emo for an entire weekend. No worries! Nobody besides Dhal knew - I was sneakily hiding it behind excursions. Saw Thor over the weekend. Pool with Mat. Mothers Day shopping with Dhal, Mat & Brennan. Family Mothers Day lunch.

It's sometimes scary how normal I can pretend to seem. Or does everyone hide it this well. Hmmmm.

Well I was blog surfing at/for work. *Yes its part of my daily 'need-to-dos' I found this.

I swear i've never looked at it that way.

No seriously. I'm not being cynical. Like many Malaysians I too nervously await the Sarawak elections results. These results will determine the next year or so in Malaysian politics. The big question being when is GE13?

How can one not sit and stare at their prefered online site? Clicking refresh every couple of minutes.

If there was ever a time for change and hope, this is it! But we shouldn't count our chickens before the eggs have hatched. The BN have had a lot of practice with winning elections and staying in power.

I for one do not expect a tsunami victory. I am hopefull that we can deny BN a two third majority and considering that during the last state elections, we only won 7/71seats, that itself I feel will be a victory worth celebrating.

Sooooo - until the EC announces official results i will be hopefull. Not optimistic, just hopeful.

four score and seven years ago..

Well not really. That means 78 years ago and I'm saying that its been that long but it certainly feels like ages. Atleast to me it does.

Updates that matter: I'm back in Malaysia for good. I'm currently unemployed but actively searching for a job. I left my heart in Australia and am waiting for it to either move on or whatever the next step is supposed to be. Not yet met up with all the friends and family I should have by now.

Once again i'm going to start a fresh and see how long it lasts.

One new interesting fact is that i've added 2 more tv seires to my already long list of tv series I download. Glee & Camelot. Glee: The music is awesome and there are some fine ladies in that show! Camelot: A diff outlook on the legend made by a relatively new british network. Eva Green as Morgana was a great casting choice. Hot and intense as ever! And Joseph Fiennes as Merlin is brilliant. One scene in particular made me literally Whoooo for joy.

Scene - Authur is climbing a huge ass waterfall to retrieve the sword in the stone while Merlin and Leontas (this productions version of Lancelot)watch. A random by stander is continuosly being negative.

Me : Whoooo!! *Applauds while laughing!!

It's frustratingly confusing how you say things that make my heart skip a beat but yet deflect and block almost any and every move I try..

With Pri there was warning bells throughout the whole experience but surprisingly with you I don't hear them..Makes me feel even more so that you just may be worth it..

Can't find a word for my current mood. Pretty sure im slightly hungover but doesn't feel that way.. No headaches and I don't feel like throwing up.. Not tired or sleepy but extremely lethargic..

Me: I'm a mess but I'll get through it. Life keeps throwing more important things at me so i cant concentrate on myself which is good. I got thesis, then job applications, then visa and then getting an apartment.

If i don't get a job then I'm going home for good and then the job and apartment process starts all over again. So i assume late September is prob when I'm free enough to actually sort my head and heart out. So yeah. That's a long way to go so I'm not gonna think about it until then.

But then again starting a new job can be stressful so maybe it'll take me like three or four months to adjust. So next January I'll work on myself. Heck i'll make it part of my new years resolution.

Is it not sad that pockets of the majority believe that rebounding is the best way to get over breakup?

I personally know many people who think rebound or rebounds is ace to getting over being dumped or generally getting over someone and that's quite sad.

I believe that we should have the strength and self respect to heal on our own and not depend/need someone else to make us feel better. I mean what happened to the whole 'you cant love another if you don't love yourself' concept?

That's what I believe but I know otherwise. Sadly enough I've rebounded and yes it helped and made me feel whole loads better. Accept when she realized it was a rebound and pulled the plug. I seriously felt like shit for leading her on and hurting her. What's worse we couldn't even remain friends after (duh!!). Hence the negativity towards rebounding.

I'm going to stick to my current plan. Going out, partying with friends, drinking quite a bit and meeting new people. I already know I deserve better and that it was her lost. I just gotta believe it and I hope I am on the right track.

Ain't it funny how all it takes is one compliment to make your day. Maybe it is because I find her amazingly attractive. Not just looks wise but she's got a real unique personality which I really dig. Yes I am going with dig. Maybe it is because she's not my usual type. Maybe it is because I've always kinda had this lil crush on her since back in the day.

*On another note, isn't it weird how young people like me actually try to use that phrase. 'Back in the day.' Back in my day would actually be referring to my young teenage days. Not much impact there eh..

I suddenly had a Beatles moment today. Remembered back when my mum had control of the car radio and would play either the Beatles, ABBA or Kenny Rogers. I d/l two of my fav songs. 'Hey jude and when I saw her standing there. There's nothing like flashes from your childhood to help with thesis completion stress. It's on repeat now. =)

Met up with HS before coffee with Rae n Navin. She's got a big decision coming over the horizon. Two boys - always a tricky situation, laced with minefields. I remember when I had to make a choice similar to that. I particulary remember feeling it was like the biggest decision I ever had to make. Boy was i VERY wong and EXTREMELY naive back then.

Remembering past encounters, choices and so on can be quite fun. A good nostalgic session can sometimes, on extremely rare occasions, be a helthy replacement to getting high. One can see where you've been or how far you've come. But as always good things must have its limits. Too much of a good thing and all that jazz. Because in the end, you're in the here and now and should always concentrate on that. Too much and you'll end up reaching a 'what if?' Never consider a 'what if?' i say. Not that i've taken my own advice but based on those personal experiences, one should really stay clear of those kinda day dreams.

Anyways I'm off. I got an early start tomorrow for football and I gotta finish my OrgComm assignment by tomorrow night. I forsee a long tiring day.

Im gonna try something new. Everyday I meet or am around so many interesting. Im sure I can find something interesting that is said or catches my fancy. So Im going to include my favorite quote of the day. Also gonna add what im listening to at that point. Just to make things more interesting. Hope nothing embarassing comes out.

Went to scout new gloves n knee guards today. My gloves are over 2 years old n I think its about time I stop using training gloves. N since im playing in a futsal leauge now I should get knee guards because I can't continue treating my knees this way. Bruised and scraped every Wed. So anyways saw this Nike gloves for 30Aud and found simple pair of knee guards for 20Aud. Hopefully everything works out.

Going out tonight. Ko's b'day dinner at her place. Aound 10 something I'll take my leave and join Rae n others at Long Room. Kim's b'day bash. Haven't been to Long Room in ages so should be fun. M semi formal-in it up to prove excitement. Ko's place is good food and good people, but I heard we're drinking and she'll be there. I just hope I dont let my own demons make it more awkward then it has to be.

Tmr i got RMIT tryouts and Lenny's 21st on the agenda. Night i suggested to her we do dinner then lost n GG marathon but she's not confirmed it so yea. *Twist twist twist.

Movies i really wanna watch are Invictus, The Blind Side n Brothers. Prob download Invictus coz its already out of the cinema but Brothers is coming soon to Nova. Really wanna see The Blind Side but its only showing at Hoyts and I cant afford watching a movie for 17Aud right now.

Last night Hanna n I walked to Carlton Gardens and spent an hour laying down on a grassy hill in the middle of the playground talking about anything to everything. It felt really relaxing. We only left because the possoms were getting closer and it became really chilly.

Dear Mr Brightside,

Its been almost four years since we last crossed paths. And boy did you leave a lasting impression. Now it meet again and it makes me sad, knowing that after four years some things haven't changed. Yes I am older. I am wiser (albeit only slightly and my recent actions say otherwise).

What matters however is not what has changed but what has not. I find myself in that dark place once again. The place I swore never to return to again but yet here we are. Monster Shark??

Tourist in Australia warned of six meter 'monster' shark: Tourists holidaying in the Australian state of Queensland have been warned to stay out of the water by authorities who fear a giant six meter-long shark might be prowling the coast.

Concerns were raised after a 3 meter great white shark was found dead with two huge bites taken out of its body. Experts believe the bites were made by an even larger predatory fish.

This was kinda big news in Australia for a bit. But i thought it was funny nobody mentioned the possibility that it was just a smaller or normal sized shark who took 2 bites?? probably it bit the same spot??

However, i admit it would be hilarious to see the locals down in Queensland standing on the beach or boats pointing their guns at the water screaming MONSTER SHARK!! Apparently thats what the people are doing btw...I think some ppl have seen Jaws wayyyyyyy to many times.

There are moments in life where one cant help but just throw it out there and see what happens. I rarely come across opportunities to do that but today I did. Today i decided to try a sad pick up line and see where it gets me.

Situation: Me getting coffee at the RMIT cafeteria before my literary journalism (LJ) class. Notice a pretty girl (PG) standing beside me. Both of us waiting for our coffee. I smile at her and she smiles back. So I do this...

Me: So do you come here often?

PG: Uh...yea i guess so. In between classes? (yes she had a questioning tone)

Me: wokays. (5 sec pause) Sorry but I just had to try that out and see how it worked out

PG: oh alright.. (takes coffee n leaves)

Now i admit that it was a overused and very bad pick up line but i swear i feel that conversation should have lasted longer. That was a classic opening into a 1st time conversation if she just had better comebacks. Or maybe I've been watching to many reruns of Friends??

MU has like 8O mil n the best they could do was overpriced Valencia and Michael Owen!!

Dont get me wrong..Owen was a top quality player but there is a logical reason why that sentence is in the past tense..although he vehemently denies it, one cant help but lable him as extremely injury prone.. He plays, he gets injured. As an ankle heals, a groin muscle rips. When he returns, a knee ligament pulls. He is a mass of interconnecting torn tissue. He has never quite rediscovered his touch and the pace that marked him out as one of the best strikers at that time.

I only hope that with the type of support he will be getting at MU, from both the medical staff and players he will be able to regain what was lost and prove to be quite a ingenius move by Fergusson..

On another note, apparently, according to my sources Eto favours a move to ManUtd rather than ManCity..He is willing to forgo the big bugs if ManUtd's 25mil bid is excepted... PLEASE EXCEPT IT!!! it would make me feel a whole lot better about the Owen issue..

I for one hope they get it..It would be awesome to see all the footballing nations come to this end of the world.. Although im still waiting for a joint bid from Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand to be launched, this is will do for now =P

1) It's been in the news that Totthenham Hotspurs are interested in not only bringing Rudd Van Nistelrooy to White Hart Lane but his ex teammate at Real Madrid David Beckham.. wouldn't that be a sight to see..those two linking up again..Really hope it goes through.. *crosses fingers

2) Man City are apparently gonna spend a lot more cash on Everton center back,Joleon Lescott, & Pourthsmoth left back, Glen Johnson. I have a lot of respect for these two players and wouldn't at all mind seeing em don a Man Utd jersey..Doubt it'll happen in this transfer window thou..

3) Hats off to Mark Hughes who is looking more n more like the esteemed manager I thought he always was.. Instead of big money for big names, he's going for more studry (for lack of a better word) experienced (in the premiere league at least) players.. I was heading to football training yest morning. It was 6.30 and hence it was fucking cold. 7/8 degrees.. and 4 the 1st time I actually saw my breathe when I spoke..I was super duper excited!! I started paying more attention to the area in front of my mouth so i could see it happen again n again n again n again..... I did say it was the 'little things' kan..

One thing sucky bout melb is that the paper i get to read sucks in the sports department..very localized sports only..maybe thats the paper im reading laa..not like im reading it much also..just picked up one like 3 days ago..maybe i should have it delivered to my room daily..hmmmmm

anyways im pissed coz i was surfing the net n dats how i freaking found out chelsea sacked scholari!! besides being pissed dat im 4 days late, im also surprised at chelsea..how long can dis go on? sacking coaches because of a run of bad form? first jose mourinho and he had brought the EPL and FA Cup to Stamford Bridge after a long baren run of winning nothing..den avram grant lost out to MU by a whisper in both the EPL n Champions Leauge only to be replaced by Scholari..Scholari started off great but recently Chelsea have been drawing and loosing when they were expected to win win win...but i dont see the logic behind changing the coach only 8 months into his new job..I think he should be left to work things out with the players..I mean it cant be good for the players if they keep changing coaches who each have different coaching styles and strategies.. It cant be good for the game in general either..bad philosophy

Also another thing i read was that Huddink is only confirmed till the end of the season and that he's gonna be holding on to his postition as Russia's national team coach..like WTF right..how is dat normal..the players are gonna play under hiddink with the knowledge that he prob wont be thier coach in another 6 months..I seriously dont see how this works out laa..Its just weird and wrong..Look at teams like MU n Arsenal..They've stuck with their coaches for so many years.. Even when the team aint doing so well..Ex: Arsene Wenger has been vouched for even when Arsenal currently are in danger of loosing top 4 status to ason villa...which i think is a damn big deal wei.. (personally love that the top four are being challenged and welcome the villains to a chanlenging and making it a top 5 or even more)

I seriously think this practice should stop..maybe FIFA should make a rule where teams cant sack thier coach so soon into thier contracts..maybe onli after 2 seasons?? k i may be extreme but i really really hate this whole changing coach deal...I think its just so so wrong..

Once again in point form... My Newbies!!

1) My very own laptop! The Asus X95SL!!
I aint extremely into tech stuff.. All i care about is that it can play my Fifa 09 coz apparently it has some damn gd gamecard and has 3GB of space..I think thats on top its normal 250GB.. I haven't named it yet =)

2) My New HP. Its my first time im actually buying a new phone. Before this i got hand me downs. Not that i've really complained but its a nice change. Im normaly a very Nokia guy but this time i decided to go with the Samsung S500i. Im not very fussed with my HP's.. I quite literally want s'thing to sms and call ppl with. Must have vibrating, reminders and alarm clock function. Having a 2.0mp camera and looking pretty cool is just a plus.. Heeeee!!

3) My external hard drive. To be honest I only thought of getting one so i could store my movies and tv series. But i also can save alot of my past assignments and projects and bring it to Aussy with me. Also once im there i can save loads of current assignments n projects on it so i wont bog up my pendrive or laptop. Its a Maxtor 250GB!!
4) Pendrive. I decided to get a pendrive once i realised my laptop isn't light (2.5kg with batt) and that carring my x-drive around isn't smart since it might get stolen. And since im prob gonna b doing my normal big file'd with many pics and graphics and making newspaper or mags kinda assignments, thought i'd get a gd 1 with alot of space. So i got a Kingston Data Traveler 8GB.
So thats the tech stuff that is new with me!! I have new clothes and stuff but so not blogging about that..still on lookout for new 'priya approved' swim pants and a sling bag 4 Uni..

anyways, in point form, the highlights of d past 2 months.. dis is gonna b long ppl!!

1) Vietnam (Dec 080
i was in vietnam a total 5 days girl n 4 of it i spent in the freaking bathroom!! i had very very very bad bad case of food poisoning...like d mornin after i arrived it started..damn sucky wei...my fam has decided it was d nasi lemak on air asia..stewardess told me it was the last 1 they had..grrrrr anyways it was alright in d end..i mean i got quite a bit of clothes.. 2 jeans, 2 3 quarter shorts n a suit made...suit to be worn during sis wedd!!

2) Fam drama
so vietnam was 18th-22nd k..22nd nite we return...23rd evening we went 2 ipoh 4 x-mas... x-mas was gd..normal fun with fam n eating like a pig..but d drama happened after..26th everybody was plannin 2 leave with my athei (dad's sis) n her fam leaving early dat mornin..so around 7 i was woken up by my athei n g'ma shouting 4 my dad n another aunt who was a nurse.. me n 2 cousins were sleeping in hall so we were 1st on scene..my athei's husband had a stroke!! we had 2 carry him out den get him 2 car den 2h hosp..massive drama wei..n because he has a heart prob it was pretty damn serious..he lost movement in entire right side of d bod...my sis n mum had 2 leave dat evenin coz of work but i volunteered 2 stay bck..coz i could drive ppl around n help take care of athei's kids..twins wei..roshan n roshni..both 7 dis yr..anyways so i stayed till d 30th nite..dat also, i left onli coz mum was worried i wouldn't have time 2 reply RMIT conditional offer (will elaborate more in point 5).. that entire week ah girl..was damn stressfull wei.. i spent like hrs at hosp..i think longest was 10 hrs straight...seriously emotionally, physically n mentally drained...every night would come bck late, my cousin n i would take whiskey n crash in front of tv till bout 2 or 3...both to wired up 2 sleep...anyways he's better now n on d 2nd i went down 2 ipoh 2 help bring him bck up 2 damansara hosp...drove his mum n my g'ma..2 elderly ppl!! made me drive all d way under 90 n with both hands on d wheel!! we left b4 8!! D HORROR!! anywys he has been dischared frm damansara hosp but he's kinda got long way 2 go..alot of teraphy is gonna 2 b needed..they said another 5-6 months before he's atleast bck 2 90% normal..

3)NEW YEAR!!
I dunno bout u but my new year tanked wei...coz i came bck 2 klg on 30th nite n spent 31st runnin around handling RMIT stuff (will elaborate more in point 5) so i was like dead tired wei..i went 2 jay's hse with dev 4 a bit but was home by 11.30..would u believe it..my area..only my area..freaking 3 roads had no power frm 8 s'thing pm till 2 s'thing am!! like wth!! ashley said how we start d new year is how d year will b...i was like fuccckkk!! me dead tired n no power wen i sleep!! =(

4) Langkawi
yes yes i went 2 langkawi with a bunch of frens..2 b fair i onli knew 2 other ppl.. pri n her fren raehan..2 b really really fair i've never met raehan b4 dis so tech i onli knew pri.. there were 11 ppl altogether..did normal langkawi stuff laa..eating tonnes of seafood n had fun in pool n beach n drank.*btw i have found new drinks..Malibu with mango n whiskey with sprite... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...did island hopping as well.. normal stuff laa..was gd fun thou..really really great 2 get away..jay n brennan joined us as well..all 3 nights jay was with us n 2 nights brennan was with us...gd seeing em but jay got a bit emo wen he realized dat i wouldn't be seeing him till july..lol oh yea 1 drama..would u believe d afternoon im flying into LCCT there's a fire...LCCT was evacuated 4 2 hrs n over 20 flights got delayed..off course i knew nth n by d time i landed it was all over..was on my way home wen sis called 2 check if i was alright.. ppffffftttt

5)RMIT
k no big drama laa..just dat d offer i earlier got was just an conditional offer...conditions was dat i finish my degree,send em final sem results n a letter from taylors saying i've finished my course..so me got all dat stuff prep n replyed d offer laa..had 2 wait quite a bit 4 my conformation of enrollment (COE) letter..with dat only i can apply 4 my visa..so anyways it came last thurs n dat evenin itself i went 2 IDP n gave in application..everything is online nowdays..heck i actually filled out d form n d lady took it n started typing it out into comp..sheesh!! anyways next day i went 4 medical..dat went alright without any prob..doc said they'll give report in 2dae mornin n 2 days later i can start checking progress online..so wed onwards laa... *crossed fingers

6)Packing
my god!! my mum is like at my back 247 2 get me 2 start packing..been deflecting coz im being lazy..but in my defence i made a list of stuff i need n ticking em off...got 5 more stuff left 2 buy.. 2dae i finally gave in 2 mum n dumped some stuff into big ass blue bag in my room n arranged my clothes into 1.taking 2 aussy 2.leaving at home 3.giving away.... off course dis is all because pri came over n started nagging 2..well not really nagging she just started arranging n since she's got dis obsession with burning alot of d stuff i like i had 2 step in n make sure dat doesn't happen. anyways 2 women nagging was 2 much 2 bear..lol I LEAVE IN 18 DAYS PPL!!

7) Pri's parents
damn annoying ppll.. i spend like just an hr sitting in her hse n her dad is all 'i dont want dat boy around d hse'... same crap..its fucking pissing me off.. i mean they noe i was gonna go langkawi with her..they know im gonna b in aussy...den wth is d logic of not letting me spend time with her while she's at home.. best part both parenst were home during dat 1 hr thing..like ARGHH!! so now i cant go over wen dad's around..mum wants pri home afternoon n evenins (calls 2 check up on her) n night she has strict curfew..its damn pissing off..i didn't buy d parents anything frm vietnam..my way of saying 'fuck u'..i noe its nth great but 4 like 10 sec in dis market in vietnam it felt gd..coz i had picked out stuff but den decided not 2 buy it..HAH!!

8) Belly!!
im not kidding..like seriously seriously a belly...ppl ask me if its beer n i say no..den they go "dei its food ah!" AHHHHHHHHHHHH!! im a stick with a bump!! sniff sniff.. pri calls me snoopy

9) Concerts
fuck rite, wen we're both not in m'sia rihanna n jason mraz coming down.. dont really care bout rihanna laa..but i'd pay 2 see mraz live man.. pri bought me front row tickets 4 coldplay in march..they performing in melb..she said its her 08 x-mas,birthday,v-day, anni n 09 x-mas pressent 2 me..lol

10) tv series
OTH is still awesome!! im following dat along with Chuck,heroes,house,csi las vegas, prison break, GG n stargate atlantis...all damn awesome except prison break laa..kinda draggy but hooked so no choice..story line is gd but getting slightly predictable..lost new season starts soon so cant wait 4 dat..thank god stargate atlantis just wrapped up thier season finale..after dis got some movie 2 end d series den dats it..lol lost can take its place..

1) This is really really like pissing me off!! There are 41 MP's going on a 'lawatan sambil belajar' to Taiwan!! they're just going to check out and learn on latest tech on agriculture. Like WTF!! ALL 41 OF EM?? I mean come on, how many do you actually need to carry out s'thing like this? a) I want some like out of this world massively detailed n specific report and b) wat happened to the gov saying the ppl should start saving and spending less or changing out lifestyles during the wake of the petro hike? aren't they supposed to be an example to that statement?? Its not gonna b cheap to house 41 MP's in Taiwan k!! HMPH!!

2) My BF is a bitch... he just is... grrrrrr *actually im over it but considering everything i have a right to vent just a lil bit

3) Procrastination really bit back hard this time..i had like dis mountain pile of work to do n like 1 day 2 do it..thank god i became ill n missed 3 days of UNI..fucked up an exam but yea atleast i get 2 do my work...Lesson learned: Dont overdo it with d procratination..a lil bit at a time is gd :)

4) I finally gave in my Masters of Comm application...hopes everything goes according 2 plan n i'll get gd news in a months time.. *Crosses fingers n prays!!

5) Gd/Bad news!! Dhal not leaving 2 Bristol dis Sat..her visa got rejected soooo WHOO HOO!! we get more dhal time, which is gd.. but den dhal has 2 go through d whole visa crap again n reschedule her flight tickets, which is bad.. hmmmmmm i'll do a stephanie n b not sure bout wether im happy or sad 4 her...

6) Premi is a cheerleader!! IMU has dis inter batch cheerleading competition sooooo dhal n i gonna go watch em compete on the 19th!! GOOOOO BANDITS!!

7) I am so fucking sleepy as i type dis n its only gonna b 5pm..im so screwed....was up watchin Eng Croat match...i swear it was soooooooo totally worth being dis sleep wei..awesome match.. Eng won 4-1!! Walcott scored a hattrick!! Croats lost a man 4 elbow charge 2 Joe Cole's head..dude had 2 b sub'd off coz of the massive bleeding!!

Last Sat, dev and I went to check out a play at Actors Studio Bangsar (ASB)... Its a drama called 'Hero'.... It stared it starred Indi Nadarajah, Anne James and newcomer Ley Shahrwind.

Hero tells the story of the anguish suffered by a family following the death of the father - a politician who is mysteriously assassinated. The story is told through the eyes of his wife, his fourteen-year-old son and by the dead man himself. The man a potential hero in the Indian community refuses to remain silent, thereby adding to the mystery illuminating a murder that has gripped not just the Tamil community, but the entire nation.As the trio tell their story through dialogue and monologue, through flash back and present day events, a sinister and uneasy web forms, linking affairs of state, power, faith and ego. Who has assassinated this man? And why? Ultimately, however, Hero transgresses national and political interests, and arrives at that most intimate and unique of spaces, the family home.

Ultimately, after a long break i was glad to go watch a play again...really missed out a few gd one's over the past year or so...anyways dis one was pretty damn gd.. im so used to watchin Indi do comedy so it was refreshing to see him do a dramatic rola so well....the man is dedicated sial..starts off wearing a suit n slowly throughout the play he strips down to just his boxers n socks..i laughed out loud during one point when he reffered to his political enemy as a 'cunt'..i mean i've heard fucker,bastard and asshole during many plays but never a 'cunt'...Ley Shahrwind was pretty gd 2..was very convincing in 1st ever thetere production...

there are 2 more plays coming up in the next month i wanna see..cant wait..comedy/musicals but still should be pretty good...

Yest me and a few frens checked out the Love Guru (LG)...actually we were gonna watch Wall-E but den the movie was to late so we dicided on LG. Anyways i thought it was damn entertaining. Not s'thing i'd normally spend RM8-10 on but yea it was very entertaining in a stupid funny way..look out for the damn funny acronyms and cameo appearences by Jessica Simpson, Val Kilmer, Kanye West and Mike Myers!! (I kid u not)

Jesica Alba is beyond hot!! She even dresses up in an Indian outfit at the end. Every Indian boy's dream come true!!

Timberlake i loved to laugh at! Dude was so macho he was gay!! but in a very entertaining way. Look out for him dancing/singing to Celine Dion classics...

There's been alot of buzz lately on the whole Avril Lavigne (AL) performing here in Malaysia and whether she is not appropriate (2 sexy it seems) for the Malaysian youth. personally i feel its all bull. Just because a performer may be to sexy, may it be in a thier dressing or attitude or performance..that is no grounds for cancelling an entire concert.

another 2 reasons being that she is 2 punk rock and that her concert was to close 2 Merdeka n her concert might give the wrong impression of wat dis country means bla bla bla.. i mean like wtf laa..

1st off she aint punk rock anymore kan..she's now more pop rock den anything n even if she was punk rock, with the internet n MTV,Channel V n E channel, the youth today can get tonnes or meterial on her or this kind of music so i dont see how cancelling her concert would curb the apparently 'bad' addiction to punk rock.

2ndly..nobody is gonna think "oh m'sia is celebrating thier independence n look few days b4 AL performed there!" "really??How can!" "terrible rite!".. I mean nobody is gonna give a fuck laa.. seriously..besides u narrow minded ppl who make me wonder if we'll ever become a developed nation socially n mentally with dis sort of crap

I think since we're a democratic country, we the people should have a say in wether the performers should b allowed. Heck tickets sales are off the roof 4 avril lavigne concert so dat should translate into the people of m'sia wanting 2 see her!! but just because a small grp of ppl (u all know who im talking about) who are to conservative in thier thinking, dont like her, our gov tires to do away with the concert which is total bullshit...

its embarrasing really.. Channel E had us on thier daily 10 a few days back.. "wat does gwen steffani, beyonce knowles and Avril Lavigne have in common" they went on to say how the Malaysian deems these performers as not appropriate and bla bla bla..n d announcer made a funny face n sarcastic remark...damn maulu ritee!!

apparently the concert is back on but no word on why the change of mind thou...

Anyways..wen some of d gang got together n was talking bout it...they were all laughing coz none of em found AL sexy...funny but i find her sexy n hot!!

Backgrounder: Rohani and I are in charge of the Ink Slingers (IS) for the next 3 months and our 1st issue was distributed last Thurs

Monday: I entered the newsroom to find a copy of IS lying on the floor with a message written in red ink on the top of the front page.

"To the inkslingers team! Please check errors in red! I know u hv a small team but pls be meticulous of ur job! From previous inkslingers!"

They actually circled and underlined our mistakes!! As far as I know only one of the previous IS team around and I wouldn't put it past HIM to pull a stunt like this.. I wont deny there were spelling and grammer mistakes and I wont try to defend em..

Fact remains there is only 2 of us working on the newspaper when the previous team had about 8 ppl.. Mr Azmyl dismissed it as juvenile n I agree but cant deny how much it irks me wenever i see HIM around coll..

For a job done by only two people, i thought it was good...however as some did,'t think so, hopefully the next issue is up to the previous standards, watever they may be..here's to hearing from you again. Maybe leave ur name next time? perhaps just ur innitials?? till den your just the red bandit (RB)... Juvenile yet frigging annoying..

31st n Baskin Robbins

Which i could upload pics frm my phone.. then i could show u how long the line was at Subang Parade's Baskin Robbins..

They abandoned the original number system dis time..normally you get a number n wait till they call it..however dis time they had d numbers but didnt use it..everybody just lined up.. long ass line..Ashley n I waited in like for 2 hours!! N i dont even like ice cream dat much!! stupid Ashley laa..sheesh!!

While standing in line i saw Reagan n Surekha walking by..they stopped n chatted 4 a bit..really great 2 see em...we all agreed we soooo need 2 grab mat n like hang out really soon...

So even thou my legs were killing me by d end of the outing, it was still gd fun...one of those events which will go down as pointless but still memorable.. Atleast i got House season 4 DVD frm Ashley.. no more waiting 4 every monday..i've spent d entire evenin watchin it...at season finale now! after dis all i'll need is Numbers n CSI NY...any takers??

Have u been reading the story about the cows on the NSE (north south expressway)??

There have been like 3 deaths in one week wen motorists knock into cows on the highway..

Occording to PLUS officials there are no farms anywhere near the areas where the accidents took place.. so thier theory is that these cows fell off some lorry that was transporting em somewhere and therefore they cant b held resposible bcoz the "accidents were not due to safety breaches"

K first of all when u have cows happily galllaventing all over the NSE (doesn't matter how they got there or why) and ur supposed to be in charge of safety.. I bloody hell say you can be freaking held responsible!!

Second..how can someone not notice if a cow has falled on thier lorry..wouldn't the car or lorry or motorcycle behind em notice something amis..maybe these cow did some special moves 2 fall off without getting hurt or getting noticed...some matrix thing.. or should i say mootrix thing..

I've never played netball b4 but didn't think much of it till Sunday morning.. N i wasn't even playing the real thing

bassically, we had to stand like 5-7 feet away from netball post/hoop or watever its called n throw a ball into it.. easy?? hell no!! It is alot harder den u think k.. i got 3 out of like 10 plus shots

*Just incase u were wondering, it was a game played during some family day thingy my dad had 2 attend
** And FYI a netball hoop/post/ or watever is higher den d one's used in basketball so there!

1. Im officially done with entertainment desk.. I m now working on the Sun news desk. dress code: formal, strict deadlines, report now 2 fred n david.. all in all = extra stress n tiredness!!

2. I've been slipping at work recently..Fred is sooooo not happy with me..not memorising d hse style n using US spelling instead of British spelling...den i was tired yest so instead of actually processing a press release i just copied d entire thing n forgot a few important details.. shit laa.. need to buck up if not Fred's not gonna give me gd grade..

3. YB is finally slowing down..poor man has lost quite a bit of weight n was pretty sick last weekend..stayed in bed a lot..we noe its serious wen he actually goes 2 bed b4 9 n puts d fan at 3 n sleeps under his quilt!!

4. French Open was quite a disappointment..Federer got his ass kicked in the final but kudos 2 Nadal who played damn well..hope federer gets bck on form in time 4 Wimbledon.. Sharapova also lost out 2 Safina who thankfully lost in d final..so did not want her 2 win..

5. Euro 08!! Go Holland, Germany n Italy!! WHOO HOO!! Btw i m anti Portugal, Russia n France!! D timing is damn messed up as the really gd matches r at 2.45am n i work d following day! I foresee a very tired/sleepy me at work 4 d next few weeks..

6. I spent d weekend in genting.. Carlsberg had a Euro 08 Futsal Challenge (Ampang Sports Planet) and a kickoff party at Genting..so got free transport n accomodation.. was nth great laa.. honestly i was 2 tired 2 enjoy it 4 real..free flow of beer was a waste on me.. lol

7. I say let Ronaldo go if he wants 2 go sooooooo bad..we can use d money 2 buy better players.. bently, quaresmo, benzema and richards r on my list..santa cruz n berbatov do not really suit MU's stye of football (I feel)... ronaldo supposedly said 2 EPL medals, 1 FA Cup medal n 1 Champions Leauge (CL) medals are enough n he wants new challenges..dumb fuck!! he missed 2 penalties in this yr's CL!! MU doesn't NEED Ronaldo.. its d other way around..he wouldn't be dis famous if he stayed at Sporting Lisbon...

8. Funny Quote..there was a fire in the Sunway Pyramid parking lot..i think it was bcoz of a sort circuit..50 motorcycles were razed..all d owners were sent home in taxis provided by the management and were told to come bck today at noon 2 pick up their motorcycles.. anyways an official frm Pyramid said "We apologised for the inconvenience".. Like WTF??

LCS called me up for the track team trainin..starts dis weekend..im excited 2 join but at the same time worried coz my stamina isn't up 2 standard... lol plus my track shoes are frm high sch days so i doubt they would fit me anymore n i dont think its worth buying a new pair just 4 a month worth of usage...hmmmmm tournament is on July 13th...

10. June movies i wanna watch : Wanted n Kung Fu Panda!!

Spoof Movies

They seem to be a popular thing nowadays eh?? I rmb wen they 1st Scary Movie came out..

Now that was a damn gd spoof movie

Heck even the sequel was pretty good

But it was all downhill from there....

The next 3 Scary Movies didn't come close to the original 2. Probably bcoz the Wayans brothers didn't want anything to do with them...but surprisingly they were able to come up with 3 more before trying something new....

I didn't even bother checking up on this movie b4 giving it a miss in the cinema..Thank god! The feedback was terrible and my friends who paid money to watch it (cinema/dvd/vcd) regretted it like hell! Kudos to the creators for making an attemp at a fresh start and trying to stray away from the norm (another messed up scary movie)

Next they tried Date Movie..I have to admit i kinda enjoyed this movie and it had mixed reviews..Even among my friends it was a 2 way tie..

Ya'll prob wondering y suddenly the post on spoof movies... Well thats bcoz... on the 22nd of May, this coming Thursday... yours truly has to go 2 Megamall and review.......................................

I'm shocked it's gonna cost my dad that much 2 get his phone fixed..i admit its no small thing wen u drop a samsung phone into a basin of water..but no way is he gonna pay dat much 2 fix his phone..can buy damn nice new 1 with dat sorta money...shit dis means i dont get my phone back anytime soon..

A Red Cross boat delivering supplies to help 1,000 victims of last weekend's cyclone sank Sunday when it hit debris in the Irrawaddy Delta region, as the U.S. prepared to deliver relief supplies to Myanmar.

"The crew managed to get to the safety of an island, along with four Red Cross staff who were on the boat," Red Cross official Joe Lowry said. "But we've lost most of the cargo."

The double-decker relief boat was carrying about 100 bags of rice, 5,000 liters of drinking water, 10,000 water purification tablets, 200 water storage containers, 10 stretchers, 30 boxes of clothing and household items like soap. - CNN

Imagine telling the people waiting for aid, "Sorry but the ship with aid has crashed. Its gonna take longer then expected." Can u imagine the locals thoughts.. "The Gods must be crazy...or angry"

**Its actually 9.51am on Monday, 12th of May 2008...stupid blogspot pissing me off so have 2 change date so I can post dis... ggrrrrrr!!

My weekend:

1) Celebrated surviving 1 week of internship...its been fun thou..besides d free food i've been learning how things go within an actuall newspaper..d politics, protocol n stuff like dat...but i just wish i could figure out dis jam prob..im waking up at 6am wei..n i usually get 2 work damn early..like an hr b4 im supposed 2 b in..even after having breakfast near by im still a gd 30 mins early...damn sleepy!!

2) MU WIN R THE CHAMPIONS!! Twas awesome to see MU win epl dis season..gotta love simon davies 4 his equalizer!! heh heh!! congrats 2 chelsea on a well fought race to..looking forward 2 d 21st of may..

3) Turkish GP... Ferari take 1st n 3rd..would have prefered some last min drama n seen raikonen overtake hamilton 2 get a Ferari 1 2.. but yeaaaa..these kinda things dont have 2 b perfect 2 b awesome..its not like i wanna see ferari run away with d F1 title so early in d season.. im weird picky in dat way.. i wanna see close fight but Ferari must win!! LOL!

4) Glad the Sultan Azlan Shah has started..at least s'thing else 2 follow now dat football is kinda done with..den again its M'sia n hockey..i've been following dat roller coaster 4 quite some time now..thank god we beat NZ..i would have been pissed (along with a lot of other M'sians) if we lost to them...anyways 2nite at 8pm we're playing Argentina...hopefully it goes well.. *crossed fingers

5) Thomas Cup is also another tournament i usually follow..no exceptions dis time.. M'sia beat Eng 5-0 wei...glad dats out of d way.. Now we have to beat South Korea n dats gonna b though.. its at 7pm..dunno if i'll get bck in time 2 watch everything...prob miss chong wei play 1st singles...sighhh! d women at are playing denmark at 1pm..maybe i'll catch dat if im still free..

6) Sunday was Mother's Day..didn't really do much...went out 4 lunch with mum, sange n dev.. Got my mum a flower..there was supposed 2 b a card as well but sange ignored her duties.. grrr!! i find it funny dat ppl choose mothers day 2 b 'nice' 2 their mum's...should b every freaking chance they get no? im kinda being a hypocrite n i admit dat...but me gonna try frm now on!

7) Thanks 2 some person who pulled out last min, Kavin n I got a chance 2 go watch Noises Off.. a play put 2gether by Taylors students..i noe there were ADP n ICPU students involved but sure there were others as well.. It was a damn well done play..Congrats 2 all d ppl involved in every aspect..awesomely done wei!! Also 2 Yugi (played d character of d director)...

8) Got 2 finally watch Ironman on Fri night... Was a gd movie..glad it didn't fail like d 1st Hulk did..4 those who haven't watched it n are planning 2 do so in the cenima..make sure u wait till d complete end k..d credits will b LONG but make sure u wait...its worth it..if u dont understand wat it is once ur done, come ask me k..i'll give u juicy details

9) YB came bck frm Bangkok last nite...he got me 2 toy figurines of Dragon Ball characters.. i think 1 is Goku n 1 is Go Han....must check with VJ..lol.. but yea he was damn surprised i was a fan..he said there were tonnes of it around but didn't noe if i'd really like em...

Im actually at work now....m on MSN, blogging and blasting music...Charissa just asked if i was really at work or not..lol..hey i cant help it if my supervisor didn't give me any assignments dis morning...or d fact he normally comes in nearer 11....lol!!

INTERNSHIP!! Its finally begun..seriously i didn't know wat to expect..i've heard so many diff stories so i literally decided 2 leave it b n take wat comes..

Anyways 4 those who don't noe i work at the Sun. I drive...freaking JAMS!! plus i pick Rohani frm subang parade..she's working at d Sun to.. i start at 9 but i have 2 leave at 6.45am..but we get there pretty early..asin like 8am..but we onli headed in at about 8.55..didn't wanna seem 2 enthusiastic on our 1st day..

So we were asked 2 sit at dis table n wait 4 d editors 2 come in..which was 9 s'thing 10... so bassically our boss is the executive editor, mr david n the news editor, mr freddie (fred)..but we report 2 our desk (department) editors...rohani got assigned 2 the news desk which is under fred.. i got assigned 2 d lifestyle department..im under mr sebastian

d rest of the mornin n afternoon was pretty dull..sat around doing nth..we got assigned our own table..got comp..with internet n msn...but diagonally behind me facing d other way is David n fred..all they need 2 do is turn around n they can see my screen!! how 2 surf facebook or blog or youtube??!! rohani sits behind me but right in front of nades n terrance F... they can see her screen without even moving..lol.. i dunno who's got d worse deal..

anyways i got 2 assignments yest.. 1 was 2 b handed in b4 deadline (which is 6pm!!) it was a food promo on a luncheon special parkroyal hotel is holding on mother's day...2nd is 4 today..im gonna go cover a press conference in eastin hotel on a book fest dats gonna b held by popular.. i dunno whether 2 b nervous or b excited...

I got in pretty early 2dae..wanted 2 use d comp n get a map 2 eastin..im fairly ok with directions but just wanted 2 b sure..but couldn't freaking get into d office bcoz my electronical card was screwed..had 2 wait 4 d receptionist 2 let me in..sheesh!! gotta get dat sorted out asap!

Last nite(early dis mornin) i had a moment..There have been moments like these b4...nail biting tension moments where u cant wait 4 d ref 2 blow his whistle n end ur missery...but last nite seriously reminded me of a previous moment like dis... d 1997 final with bayern munich..sitting in front of the tv with dad n praying 4 a miracle..n it did...nostalgia sial!!

Alot has changed since dat moment...well most noticeable is d fact im older..my dad didn't stay up 2 watch the match with me..hence d fact i couldn't scream out emotions coz everybody else was sleeping..(post election times:cannot wake YB frm beauty sleep..very dangerous) n most importantly its d first champions leauge final MU has entered since winning d cup 11 yrs ago... some things were d same... i still jumped up n punched d air wen scholes scored..did d same wen d final whistle blew..i even felt d same tension n eventual joy n pride....How i wish i was there.. being s'one who supported Selangor n watched 2 of thier cup winning finals, i noe how it feels 2 b in a stadium n watchin ur team win s'thing....

I honestly loved d way MU played n mind u dis was minus Rooney or Vidic..everybody played damn well.. ppl like brown, hargreaves, ji-sung, nani, tevez n scholes proved their critics wrong and played a damn gd game.. ppl like ferdinand, ronaldo, nani n carrick played like they've been playing all season...fantastically... d entire season i've been defending scholes against me frens n finally it paid off.. k he's not at his best but the man is still brilliant.. i'd pick him over stevie G or frank lampard any freaking day..I cant wait 2 see wat the Hatchet Man has 2 say in tmr's NST or if he'll say anything at all..last thing i read frm him was how n why he hated MU...hmmmmmm

sure as hell looking forward 2 d final...but b4 shooting dat far ahead, i cant freaking wait 2 see who wins later 2nite (early tmr mornin) chelsea or liverpool... as a biased MU fan i wanna c liverpool make d finals as chelsea just beat us in the EPL..but as a general football fan i just really wanna see both teams play their best n a gd game of football...
